It is my pleasure as the owner and founder of Somerleys Sutton Forest, Somerleys Ocean Retreat and Somerleys Home lifestyle products to introduce myself and welcome you into the world of Somerleys.

I am delighted to welcome couples to celebrate your wedding day here at Somerley House. Every couples love brings so much joy & authenticity to this special beautiful place. I am committed to romance, beauty and happy elegance over fleeting trends and endeavour to bring heart, heritage, and graciousness to the experiences curated and enjoyed within them.

I have always been driven by a deep love of properties with character. I see them as a canvas on which to create spaces that feel timeless, beautiful, and alive. I was raised in my families retail and property development business, Bernoth Properties. This provided me with a foundation built on hard work, integrity, and an appreciation for creating lasting impact through place. I studied commerce law and worked as a property lawyer at Minter Ellison before leaving to pursue my creative interests to study art at Sotheby’s in London. This led me to running a real estate company in downtown New York. On my return to Sydney, I purchased the once-vacant Garibaldi Inn, Hunters Hill and thoroughly enjoyed recreating the property into a vibrant village centre for the locals to enjoy. After selling this property I purchased Somerleys Sutton Forest and subsequently Somerleys Ocean Retreat.

I feel honoured and excited to continue to explore new ways including Somerleys Homeware to bring beautiful spaces and thoughtful authentically curated experiences and products into people’s lives and memories.
